When you’re looking for a housekeeping job, the first thing to think about is where you want to work.

Here’s what you need to know.

Who will work for you?

If you want a house cleaning job, you’ll need to be 18 or over and eligible to work in the UK, as well as being at least 18 years old and have an interviewable skillset.

The job pays around £35 an hour.

The average wage for a first-year housekeeper is £19.40 an hour, but there’s a wide range of housekeeping jobs available, depending on your experience and your qualifications.

There are also plenty of freelance housekeepers who can offer the same experience and work experience.

Can you work as a house cleaner?

The job doesn’t require a degree or even a degree in housekeeping, but some housekeeping roles require experience in cleaning.

They also need to have experience with vacuuming and other household tasks, as they are expected to be responsible for keeping the house tidy and in good repair.

If a house or an object is damaged in an accident or fire, it could be covered by a £1,000 home repair levy and a cleaning levy.
