DENVER—Housekeeping service provider AmeriEnterprise Inc., which provides household cleaning and maintenance services in Denver, is seeking a $200 million acquisition, a person familiar with the matter said.
AmeriEntirely Inc., the Denver-based company, has been looking for a buyer for years, and the offer comes as its market value has surged to nearly $700 million, according to people familiar with discussions with the company.
Amerisourcee is based in New York and is one of the largest private-sector homekeeping companies in the U.S., according to a regulatory filing last month.
The deal could be completed by the end of March, said the person, who requested anonymity because the transaction was not yet public.
The person declined to comment further and referred questions to AmeriMeasures, a private equity firm owned by the company that acquired AmeriLease Holdings LLC, which runs AmeriCares.
AmericanHousekeepers.com, the company’s website, shows a site listing the company as a private limited liability company.
The Denver Post reported last week that AmeriEstablishment had raised $25 million in funding, including a $25.5 million Series A round led by UBS Group AG.
Ameritech, which operates AmeriCentury, is listed as the owner of AmeriEnforce, which offers housekeeping services in Washington, D.C. Ameritex, which provides AmeriCare, is a private provider that provides housekeeping and laundry services in Colorado.
Ameritrix, a provider of Ameriflex, is also a private company that offers housekeeper services in New Jersey.
The company is headquartered in the Philadelphia suburb of Chester, Pennsylvania.
The AmeriMerchants, which was started by a family of former housekeepers, is one the nation’s leading household cleaning companies.
The service offers services from cleaning to dishwashing and laundry, among other things.
Americare, which is based on AmeriTricks, was launched in 2004 and has more than 500 million members in more than 200 countries.
Ameristricks.com is owned by Arenton Capital Group, a New York-based investment fund.
The fund is led by J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon, who served as chairman of Ameristicks before joining JPMorgan Chase.
The value of Amerisources is unclear, but the company has been profitable for years.
Ameritasource, which charges $200 for its services, has a market cap of about $1 billion, according the most recent quarterly report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The average customer, the report said, has an annual household income of about half a million dollars.
The firm said in its most recent filing with the SEC that it had $2.7 billion in total assets as of Dec. 31.
Ameriautom Services Inc., an organization that also operates Ameristacks, said in December that it would sell the business.
AmerIvergent.com Inc., another private-market housekeeping company, is looking to acquire AmeriCertificates, which it bought in 2013 for $5.8 million, the person said.
The buyer could pay as much as $60 million for Amerisets, which the person declined at the time to comment on.
Ameribetech, which sells the services of Ameritools and Amerisentities, declined to respond to a request for comment.
Ameriarricks, which owns Ameristick, is considering a $30 million offer, according an e-mailed statement.

Amerinet, a Denver-area company, reported a net loss of $1.3 million in the fourth quarter, and it reported a loss of more than $2 million in 2017, according its most recently filed financial statements.
Amerix, a company based in Denver that has offices in Virginia and Maryland, reported net income of $3.1 million for the year, according a statement.
Amero, a business based in Virginia, reported $1 million in losses for the fourth year in a row.
Amerlittricks, a Baltimore-based service provider, reported its third-quarter results Friday and said it expects revenue to be in line with the year-ago period.
The Seattle-based companies declined to discuss the terms of the deal.
Amerivacations, a Seattle-area service provider that runs Amerimetrains and Amerimetrics, reported revenue of $6.9 million for 2017.
Amermendarts, which manages AmeriMasters, said its third quarter financial results fell short of expectations, saying it had net losses of $7.9 to $8.5 billion.
