The family of a woman who helped save a young woman from drowning has announced her death.
Lauren Blythe died Wednesday, the family said in a statement.
She was 77.
Blythe worked as a housekeeper for a man named Bill Brady, the Associated Press reported.
She helped Brady clean and disinfect homes in Washington and Maryland.
The Associated Press reports she was a native of St. Louis.
Brady and his family, who did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment, are known for cleaning up the area where the drowning took place.
