On a bright, warm summer day, it’s hard to imagine a time when housekeeping wasn’t the focus of most of us.
As a result, we all get used to the feeling of needing to do things like clean and scrub the place, so we assume we’ll do the same on the weekend.
But if you’re not a housekeeper, or if you don’t regularly clean and maintain your home, it can feel like you’re missing out.
In fact, a survey from the Australian Institute of Home Care found that 80 per cent of housekeepers think housekeeping is ‘important’ for their family.
And, according to the survey, 80 per the survey’s respondents said they feel pressured to clean up the house.
So, why are housekeepers so angry about cleaning?
And why are they so keen to clean?
